Theological Views are a scientific journal published by the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Theological Views primarily publishes original scientific papers on theological and religious subjects. By cultivating an interdisciplinary approach, the journal is open for works based on research in other social sciences and humanities, in so far as they contain theological reflection or otherwise correspond to the theological and religious topics. Theological Views also publishes relevant translations from classical and oriental languages, with accompanying studies and notes. Theological Views primarily publishes papers in Serbian and English. All papers are reviewed anonymously and two times (see Guide for Authors and Peer Reviewer Instructions).
Editorial Board of the Theological Views holds to very high ethical and academic standards in publication of scientific papers (see Ethical and Scientific Standards).
Scientific journal Theological Views was founded in 1968. Regular publication of the journal was discontinued in 1999, and this break lasted until 2008 with the exception of one issue that came out in 2003. In 2008, the journal Theological Views continued its regular publication. Theological Views are today published three times a year (in May, September and December).
Papers published in the Theological Views are peer-reviewed. The published articles represent the views of the authors.
