Theological Views primarily publishes original scientific papers on theological and religious subjects. By cultivating an interdisciplinary approach, the journal is open for works based on research in other social sciences and humanities, in so far as they contain theological reflection or otherwise correspond to the theological and religious topics. Theological Views primarily publishes papers in Serbian and English. All papers are reviewed anonymously and two times (see Peer Reviewer Instructions). Editorial Board of the Theological Views holds to very high ethical and academic standards in publication of scientific papers (see Ethical and Scientific Standards).

In this regard, the author is obliged to submit a signed Authorship Statement to the Editorial Board confirming that the submitted article is the result of his own research, that it does not infringe the copyright or any other third party, that the rules of scientific methodology in terms of quoting others sources and citations are respected, and that work is not published under that or any other title, or offered for publication in any other journal.
A scanned Authorship Statement shall be submitted to the Editorial Board by the email, or printed, by mail.

Useful address: www.chicagomanualofstyle.org
6. Process of review of papers
Upon receipt of the paper, the Editorial Board first decides whether the paper corresponds to the journal's profile and whether it will be sent for review, and then informs the author of its decision.
Contributions sent for review are submitted by the Editorial Board to two reviewers. The names of the reviewers are not and will not be known to the authors, and all communication takes place through the Editorial Board. Reviewers receive the text of the article electronically, without the author's name or other data that would reveal the author's identity (so-called "double blind" peer review) (see Peer Reviewer Instructions).
If the article is unconditionally accepted by both reviewers, the work is accepted for publication. If it is rejected by both reviewers, the work will not be published. If a reviewer or both reviewers asked for the article to be finished, the author will be introduced with requirements. After corrections/modifications, the article will be resubmitted to the reviewer/reviewers. If the reviewers estimate that the conditions are met, paper will be published. If one reviewer conditionally or unconditionally evaluates paper as positive and the other as negative, then a third reviewer will be engaged, and his review will be final.
At the end of the review process, the Editorial Board informs the author whether the work has been accepted for publication or rejected.
Additionally, upon receipt of positive reviews, the Editorial Board reserves the right to require the author to bring the article into line with the journal's norms, i.e. to bring his work into line with the Instructions for Authors. The author is obliged to proofread the work within 7 working days, if requested.
The deadline for the completion of the paper review process is 12 months from the submission of the manuscript, i.e. the date of arrival of the electronic copy of the manuscript, counting the first working day as the date of arrival if the copy is sent during non-working days.
The expected deadline for publication of approved papers after the completion of the peer review process and after making possible corrections is 12 months, counting from the date of arrival of the final version of the paper, i.e. from the date of approval of the paper.
